Privacy Policy

Last sealed — 26 June 2026

ArcaneVault exists to keep your collection — not to mine it. Here's exactly what we hold, why we hold it, and the control you keep over it.

What we keep

Two things, and only what each job needs:

  • Your account — a username, an email address, and your password stored as a one-way hash, never the password itself.
  • Your collection — the items you record: their names, categories, quantities, and whether you've marked them to trade.

Why we keep it

To run your vault, and nothing else: to sign you in, show you your own collection, and keep your records accurate between visits. We don't build a profile of you, and we never use your collection to advertise anything.

How it's protected

Passwords are hashed before they're ever stored, so no one — including us — can read them back. Your collection is tied to your account and shown only to you while you're signed in.

When you remove an item it's sealed away with a soft delete rather than destroyed, so an accidental removal can be recovered rather than lost for good.

What we never do

We never sell your data, never hand it to third parties or advertisers, and never track you across other sites. Nothing watches or analyses what you choose to collect.

Cookies

One cookie, for one job: it keeps you signed in after you log in. It isn't used to follow you around, and it clears when you sign out.

Your control

Your collection is yours to change. Add, edit, or remove any item at any time from My Collection. If you'd like your account closed entirely, ask a member of staff and we'll seal it for you.

Changes & contact

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Questions about your data? Reach the vault keepers at privacy@arcanevault.example.
